Updates from Summer 2018!
TechShift turns ONE this year, and we're working on lots of new things. Big shout-out to everyone who made this last year possible. Now we need your help to make this year even more impactful.
Fall 2018 call for new organizations
We are accepting new organizations to the TechShift family. This is the 2018 application. Please share with friends at other schools! We need your help to get the word out. Email us if you have specific suggestions or want to help further. If you're an alum, we're looking for mentors for the new organizations, so please reach out! Click below for blurbs, graphics, and more information about how to spread the word
Join techshift internal slack
TechShift is going to start to use Slack to communicate among everyone. This will help us be better organized, and help members be able to share their work more easily! TechShift is easy to use: (1) Download the app on your phone. (2) Submit your email and we will invite you to the workspace.
We're so excited that Misbah Noorani joined our team this summer. We'll let her introduce herself–
Technology is influencing the quality of life of people and the planet, and I’m excited to be on a journey to actively influence the valence of that impact with you all!
Aside from managing the day-to-day at Techshift, I’m here to address the burnout that we’re all prone to feeling as high-achieving and emotionally present folks in today’s world. Feel free to reach out with questions and suggestions, or if you just want to chat! In my “free time” I enjoy making videos, cultivating bonsai trees, and avoiding small tasks like writing bios.
